where the eyes go,
the money follows.
Every post on X that mentions your $TICKER counts. Every hour, the most-mentioned coin wins the Hype Pool as a buyback. Then the count resets, so a coin launched five minutes ago has the same shot as the biggest one.

Everywhere else, attention is free marketing that pays nobody. On HypePad it pays the coin: posts win rounds, rounds win the Hype Pool, and the pool buys the coin back.
one hour. one winner.
then everyone starts at zero.
That’s the whole mechanism. Trading fees from every HypePad coin fill one shared Hype Pool. Every hour, the coin with the most X mentions in that hour gets the pool spent buying it back.

worth being clear about.
What counts as a mention?
A post on X that contains your coin’s $TICKER. Each post counts once. Spam, duplicates and obvious bot bursts are filtered out, so the meter tracks real attention rather than noise.
How is the winner picked?
Rounds are one hour long, top of the hour to top of the hour. When a round ends, the coin with the most mentions in that hour wins. The whole Hype Pool is spent buying that coin back on the market.
Can a new coin actually win?
Yes, and that’s the point. Counts reset to zero every hour and nothing carries over, so market cap and age don’t matter. A coin launched ten minutes ago only has to be the loudest for one hour.
Where do the fees go?
Each coin has a creator fee of 1 to 3%. Fees from every HypePad coin go into the shared Hype Pool, which pays for the hourly buyback. More coins, more fees, bigger pool.
1% of every hourly payout buys back $HYPEPAD, the launchpad’s own coin.
Which wallet do I need?
Phantom, on Solana. On mobile, the connect button opens this page inside the Phantom app.
Is anything on this page live yet?
This page is a live demonstration. The mention feed and the round are simulations, and launching only saves the coin in your browser. Nothing is signed or broadcast.
Is HypePad affiliated with X?
No. HypePad is an independent project that reads public posts. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X.
